Universal Teller – Bettendorf Branch

This is a multi-faceted position with primary responsibilities in both the Teller and Member Service Areas.

  • Assists members with their financial transactions.
  • Assists members with needs relating to products and services offered by The Family Credit Union.
  • Determines eligibility for membership, opens and closes all types of accounts, and updates member information as necessary.  Originates and closes consumer loans.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Teller – Quad City Locations

As part of The Family Credit Union Team, the Teller will provide superior service to our members by processing deposits, withdrawals, payments, and coin/cash orders, service issues, and handling phone calls in a professional, courteous, and friendly manner. The teller actively looks for opportunities to refer and cross-sell credit union service and performs other job-related duties or special projects as assigned.

Additional qualifications include:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and professional manner
  • Ability to cross-sell products and services
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Computer skills to include the ability to work in Windows based systems
  • Aptitude for mathematics
  • Ability to lift heavy coin as well as stand or sit for long periods of time
  • Ability to work a varied schedule including Saturday mornings
  • Dependable and punctual; flexible during peak times.
  • Self-motivated; ability to work without close supervision.
  • Problem solving; analysis.
  • Bilingual/Spanish a plus
