Open your accounts online

This service allows our current and new members open accounts online using a secure site or by using our Mobile App.

New Account Opening

We’re pleased you’re interested in membership at The Family Credit Union and we look forward to meeting your financial needs. You can now open your account without having to come in. We use specialized ID software to verify your identity.

You will need the following information when opening your account:

  • Address and phone number
  • Social Security Numbers for you and any joint members on the account
  • Driver’s License or State Issued ID
  • Birthdate for all people on the account
  • Account Funding banking information

If you do not fund via the secure transfer site, you will be asked to come into a credit union within 30 days of opening your account so that you can deposit the minimum share account.

Additional Account Opening

With a current home banking account, you can open additional accounts without having to stop by in-person.

Additional accounts that can be added are

  • Secondary savings including the high yield TIA
  • Certificate of Deposit
  • Checking
  • Christmas Club

And once your accounts are set up, use your home banking/mobile app to transfer and fund it.
