Financial Literacy Month

April is Financial Literacy Month!
The Family Credit Union and Kirby Kangaroo are teaming up to help kids learn the importance of saving—while having some fun along the way!

Together with WQAD, Kirby Kangaroo is sponsoring a Coloring Contest to celebrate. It’s a fun way for young people to get creative and enter for a chance to win a $25 gift card! Winners will be randomly selected.

How to Enter:

1. Pick up a coloring sheet at any Family Credit Union branch, or download one from the contest page at WQAD.com or The Family Credit Union.

2. Get creative and color your sheet!

3. Submit your finished masterpiece by email to contest@wqad.com or mail it to:

Contest Runs:
April 1 – April 29, 2026

Starting Monday, April 20th, WQAD will feature one winning picture each weekday during their newscast.

Prizes:
Each winner will receive a $25 gift card, which can be picked up at any Family Credit Union location. A quick form will need to be completed when claiming your prize.

Let’s celebrate Financial Literacy Month by encouraging young savers to color, create, and learn!
