When appropriate, the credit union uses security coding techniques to protect against unauthorized access to personal record, ensure accuracy and integrity of communications and transactions, and protect member confidentiality. Members of The Family Credit Union will always have access to their information to ensure its accuracy. They will always have the opportunity to review their information and make necessary changes in order to ensure that the credit unions' records are complete and accurate. The Family Credit Union will only share information when necessary to administer products and services the credit union provides, or when required to do so by the government, or when it partners with other businesses to offer members a broader array of products and services. The Family Credit Union will partner only with businesses that follow strict confidentiality requirements and offer products designed to improve the financial future of its members. The businesses selected will be required to follow strict requirements. Under no circumstances will these firms be authorized to charge your account without your express consent, and the credit union will not sell member information to telemarketing firms. The Family Credit Union will offer all members a choice in how their information is used. Members may elect not to have their information shared with the credit unions' business partners. If a member prefers that the credit union not disclose nonpublic personal information about them to nonaffiliated third parties, they may opt out of those disclosures.
