Open or Add an Account

Open your accounts online

This service lets our current members and new members open accounts online using a secure online site or by logging into Home Banking.

Account Opening

We’re pleased you’re interested in membership at The Family Credit Union and we look forward to meeting your financial needs.

You will need the following items when opening your account:

  • Address and phone number
  • Social Security Numbers for you and any joint members on the account
  • Driver’s License or State Issued ID
  • Birth date for all people on the account

You will be asked to come into a credit union within 30 days of opening an account by this means so that we can get your account funded and verify your identification.

Additional Account Opening

With a current home banking account, you can open additional accounts without having to stop in-person.

  • Log in your home banking and go to the Self Service tab
  • Click on Open Additional Accounts – and then Member Request

Additional accounts that can be added are

  • Secondary savings including the high yield TIA
  • Certificate of Deposit
  • Checking
  • Christmas Club

And once your accounts are set up, use your home banking transfer option to fund it.
