Where Family is More Than Our Name
The Family Credit Union is a community based credit union. This means anyone living or working in the Quad City area (including Illinois), Dallas, Muscatine, Louisa, Washington, Henry, Des Moines, and surrounding counties, are qualified for membership. This also includes all family members as well - even if you live out of state!
As a credit union member, you are an owner. A minimum deposit of $25 into a Share Savings account allows you to become a voting member of our not-for-profit financial cooperative. The $25 balance needs to be maintained for membership.
Being an owner, you are entitled to use all products and services offered by the credit union. Members also value the credit union's low cost loans and often higher divident paybacks.
You also have a say in the credit union. All members are entitled to one vote in Board elections and certain credit union matters.
